سحابی معروف جبار روشنترین سحابی گازی در آسمان ، در صورت فلکی جبار قرار دارد
در شرایط خوب با چشم غیر مسلح نیز قابل مشاهده است
روشنایی ظاهری تقریبی آن در حدود ۴ بوده واندازه آن نیز در حدود یک درجه است
