The North America Nebula (NGC 7000 or Caldwell 20) is an emission nebula in the constellation Cygnus, close to Deneb (the tail of the swan and its brightest star).
The reason for this naming is the similarity of the nebula to the map of North America, which can be seen at the bottom left of the image
Near the center of the image, just off the east coast, you see the North American Nebula, IC 5070, or the Pelican Nebula.
These two bright nebulae are about 1,500 light-years away

سحابی آمریکای شمالی و پلیکان
سحابی آمریکای شمالی یک سحابی نشری در صورت فلکی ماکیان و در نزدیکی ستاره دنب است. علت این نامگذاری شباهت سحابی به نقشه آمریکای شمالی است که درسمت چپ و پایین تصویر قابل مشاهده است
تقریبا در مرکز تصویر ، درست در کنار ساحل شرقی سحابی آمریکای شمالی ، ای سی ۵۰۷۰ ، و یا سحابی پلیکان را مشاهده می کنید
این دو سحابی روشن حدود 1500 سال نوری از ما فاصله دارند
