تربیع اول
تربیع اول را هنگامی میتوانیم ببینیم که نیمی از سطح ماه روشن شده باشد
و روشن بودن نیمه چپ یا راست آن به مکانی که هستید مربوط است نیمکره شمالی یا جنوبی
حدود روز هفتم از دوره چرخش ماه به دور زمین، وضعیت ماه طوری است که 50 درصد سطح ماه روشن است
فاصله ماه و خورشید از دید ناظر زمینی در حدود 90 درجه بوده و ماه بصورت نیمه دیده شده و در زمان غروب خورشید در بیشترین فاصله از افق قرار دارد
به وضعیت ماه در روز هفتم تربیع اول و به وضیعت ماه در روز بیست و یکم تربیع آخر یا تربیع دوم می گویند
