حدود روزهای 21 یا 22  در چرخش ماه  به دور زمین (از ماه قمری)، وضعیت ماه طوری است که  50 درصد سطح ماه روشن است
مجدداً ماه بصورت نیمه دیده می شود. از این پس، هرشب روشنایی سطح ماه کمتر می شود
