This intermediate Moon phase starts after the First Quarter Moon and lasts until the Full Moon.
Just after the First Quarter Moon, when we can see exactly half of the face of the Moon illuminated, the intermediate phase called Waxing Gibbous Moon starts.
Waxing means that it is getting bigger

As a result, we can see thin, wide and full crescents from the moon on different nights of the lunar month.

این مرحله ماه ، بعد از تربیع اول شروع می شود و تا ماه کامل ادامه دارد
درست بعد از تربیع اول ، وقتی می توانیم نیمی از چهره ماه را کاملاً روشن ببینیم ، مرحله میانی موسوم به گیبوس یا تثلیث آغاز می شود
فاز، در نجوم به تغییر شکل ماه در آسمان به صورتی که به نظر ما می‌رسد، اطلاق می‌شود همچنین این اصطلاح در مورد سیاره‌های درونی نیز بکار می‌رود
در فازهای مختلف ، میزان تابش نور خورشید از سطح ماه یا یک سیاره به سطح زمین تغییر می کند
در نتیجه ، می توانیم هلال های نازک ، پهن و کامل از ماه را در شب های مختلف ماه قمری مشاهده کنیم
در مرحله گیبوس ، فاصله زاویه ای ماه از خورشید 120 درجه است
