This heavily populated trail leads up from the Lake Louise Lakeshore to Mirror Lake. It is a small lake that boasts tranquility and other-worldly reflections of the Big Beehive that towers above. There are benches and flat areas to rest and enjoy the scenery.
Description for Mirror Lake Trail
Mirror Lake follows the Lake Agnes trail that leads to the historic teahouse and is the gateway to many other trails. Mirror Lake is the first stop along the intricate trail system.
Mirror Lake is a pleasant family-friendly trail that will take you beyond the classic Lake Louise viewpoint and allow you to explore the trail system without too much effort. Beautiful forested trails, glimpses of the turquoise waters, and a quaint lake makeup this interesting trail.
From the Lake Louise lakeshore and viewpoint, follow the paved path to the right. If you look up into the trees on the right of the lake, you will be able to make out the Big Beehive. It is a large cliff feature that looks like a giant beehive. This looms over your destination at Mirror Lake.
You will follow signs for Lake Agnes trail. There are many trails that branch off from this one, but you will stay on the main trail until reaching Mirror Lake. Make your way up the switchbacks and be sure to look back for glimpses of the incredible turquoise waters below. Lake Louise gets its unique colour from glacial silt that settles in the bottom of the lake, creating the blue colour it is famous for. The higher above the lake you climb, the brighter blue the water appears.
The switchbacks will lead you straight to Mirror Lake, where you will stand head-on with the Big Beehive. Watch for its reflection in the water below. If you wish to extend your hike, continue the 0.8 km to Lake Agnes, where you will be greeted with subalpine views and a historic teahouse built in 1909. If not, return the way you came back to Lake Louise.

شما تابلوهای مسیر دریاچه آگنس را دنبال خواهید کرد. مسیرهای زیادی از این مسیر منشعب میشوند، اما تا رسیدن به دریاچه میرور در مسیر اصلی خواهید ماند. از پیچ و خمها بالا بروید و حتماً برای دیدن آبهای فیروزهای شگفتانگیز پایین، به عقب نگاه کنید. دریاچه لوئیز رنگ منحصر به فرد خود را از گل و لای یخچالی که در کف دریاچه ته نشین میشود، میگیرد و رنگ آبی معروف آن را ایجاد میکند. هرچه از دریاچه بالاتر بروید، آب آبی روشنتری به نظر میرسد
پیچ و خمها شما را مستقیماً به دریاچه میرور هدایت میکنند، جایی که رو در روی کندوی بزرگ زنبور عسل خواهید ایستاد. انعکاس آن را در آب پایین تماشا کنید. اگر مایل به ادامه پیادهروی خود هستید، مسیر ۸۰۰ متری را تا دریاچه آگنس ادامه دهید، جایی که با مناظر کوهستانی و یک چایخانه تاریخی ساخته شده در سال ۱۹۰۹ روبرو خواهید شد. در غیر این صورت، از همان مسیری که به دریاچه لوئیز برگشتید، برگردید
